TMPD K9 unit successfully recovered a stolen Toyota Rav4 in Mamelodi on April 12, 2025. The vehicle was reported stolen near the Grove Mall.
Subsequently on the 13 April 2025, The TMPD K9 unit successfully apprehended two male suspects involved in cable theft in the Pretoria Moot precinct. The suspects were observed driving in the area, prompting a traffic stop by the unit. Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered stolen cable, leading to the immediate arrest of the suspects for tampering with essential city infrastructure. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat infrastructure theft and ensure the safety and functionality of city services.
