Esinembe - search for missing 87 year old woman

On Thursday, 27 March 2025, an elderly lady was last seen gathering herbs near her home in the Esinembe area.
On Friday morning, IPSS Search & Rescue, Musa Nkone and K9 Midnight assisted Umhlali SAPS K9 Search & Rescue, in an attempt to locate the missing woman.
Search teams were joined by the local community, her family and Hawks Farm Watch, who were able to indicate the area she was last seen, and join the search.
On Friday afternoon, the search was called off due to poor weather, sadly there was no sign of the missing woman.
SAPS will continue to investigate, with the aim of narrowing down the vast search area.
If a friend or family member is missing, do not delay opening a missing persons docket with your local SAPS.
