Cash-In-Transit heist along Edendale Road in Pietermaritzburg

This evening along Edendale road in PMB, a Cash in Transit vehicle was forcibly stopped and bombed.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the scene where paramedics rendered immediate medical attention to stabilize a patient who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The patient was transported to nearby hospital for further medical attention.
The area is still active as the SAPS are on scene and investigating.
