Patient Airlifted after Four-Hour Rescue in Inchanga
24 March 2025 | From Arrive Alive

Earlier this morning, just after 10am, multiple Mi7 teams were dispatched to the Inchanga area after reports of a truck crash.
It was found that the driver of a truck had lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn. Mi7 medics were guided to one patient, the passenger, who was entrapped in the wreckage.
Along with their counterparts from other service providers, teams worked to stabilize the patient. Ethekwini Fire and Rescue initiated a rescue operation, one that took almost four hours to extricate the patient.
A specialized medical helicopter was dispatched to scene to assist with airlifting the patient to a trauma centre for further treatment.
The driver was separately transported to hospital by Mi7 teams.
We wish all those injured a successful recovery and commend the joint effort displayed by all roleplayers involved.
