Man executed in his home in Trenance Park

A 42-year-old man was executed in his home in Phase 2, Trenance Park - KZN.
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call from a relative of the victim requesting urgent medical assistance. Reaction Officers & RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene at approximately 06:31.
The body of a man was discovered in his room in an outbuilding. He sustained a gunshot wound to his head.
According to a witness, three occupants of a white Toyota Corolla (model & registration unknown) approached the house and fired shots while standing in the yard.
They then entered the deceased’s room and shot him before they fled in an unknown direction. Four spent 9mm cartridges were recovered.
The motive for the murder could not be confirmed.
