One person shot during robbery in Stanger

In the early hours of this morning IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a shooting in the Stanger area.
On arrival of paramedics it was established that two people were robbed of their belongings by four suspects at gun point whilst on their way to get food.
One of the victims sustained a gunshot wound and was stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
The matter is being investigated by SAPS.

Police search and rescue members are scouring the Hennops River in Centurion for the bodies of three missing SAPS members from the Free State who went missing whilst on the way to Polokwane last week.
Two bodies were reportedly recovered yesterday and positively identified.
