National Land Transport Act (5/2009) (“NLTA”) – Transport Subsidy Policy

We would like to inform you that the draft Public Transport Subsidy Policy was published on 23 February 2024 for comment (GG 50176).  Comments may be submitted until 31 March 2024.  The Gazette is available on our website.

SANRAL Act, 1998. Adjustment of tolls. GG 50084 of 6 February 2024.

Notices No. 4335 to 4337 in terms of the South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act were published on 6 February 2024.  The notices adjust the tolls as of 1 March 2024.

•    National Road Traffic and Road Transport Legislation – Summary of approved bills and upcoming regulations.
•    Economic Regulation of Transport Bill, B1-2020 – Impact and Role of the Transport Regulator.
•    Border Management Authority Act, 1 of 2020 – Discussion on the Authority's role in law enforcement, cross-border transport, and management at border posts, ports, and airports.
