N3 Road Crash Update

Motorists are warned that the N3 northbound between Hilton and Cedara is still closed to traffic and light motor vehicles are being diverted from the Liberty Mall off-ramp to alternative routes such as R103.
Emergency teams and traffic officials are still on scene and are working hard to recover all casualties, assist the injured and to recover the wreckages.
This is anticipated to take a while and motorists are still urged to delay their travel to avoid spending hours in the traffic.
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport is working with various government agencies to set up a response centre including a call centre to assist members of the public in locating their loved ones and to check on the status of the road.
