Eighteen-year-old boy killed in N3 collision

Emer-G-Med paramedics were called to the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on the N3 South near the Linksfield area, at approximately 19h00 on Monday night.

On arrival on the scene, two light motor vehicles were found to have collided.

On closer inspection, an eighteen-year-old male passenger from one of the vehicles was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the arrival of paramedics.

Three other patients were treated for injuries ranging from minor to moderate and taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
