3 People injured in a bus fire, N2 South Bound

Three people have sustained minor injuries after the bus they were in somehow caught alight on the N2 South Bound before the N2 this morning.

Just after 6:15 am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call of a bus well alight. Three people had sustained minor injuries suffering from smoke inhalation and were treated on scene. One patient was then transported through to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.

At this stage, the exact cause of the fire is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
